what i have learned.........
About.........
I first stumbled upon this idea over at Brenda's Walking Butterfly blog.
Brenda has told me she found it at Missy's blog , Its Almost Naptime
A Letter to My Younger Self.
How it has intrigued me, this fabulous concept !
However, I have been unable to contain all i want to say in one letter, and so decided to 'break it down now' into Letter's to My Younger Self covering various topics and subjects.
This of course means covering various blog postings as well.
Hence, this blog, just for my letters.
I have also been inspired to include a version of this exercise in my class teachings as a way of helping these women who are leaving the Mothering phase of their lives to look back upon themselves as they were in the Maiden phase.
This gives them an idea of the growth that has taken place in their lives.
It is truly an enchanting idea and one i encourage you to 'have a go at' as a tool towards self growth and self love.
